What It Is Isn’t What It Should Be [Seoul Digital Forum, May 21, 2014]
We have witnessed great strides in the field of mobile telecommunications over the past three decades. Thanks to the remarkable advancements in network speed and smartphone performance, the industry is currently flooded with mobile services such as games, messenger services and video contents. However, ‘phone,’ the most frequently used app in smartphones, was left behind, remaining unchanged all these years. Thus, we made it our task to adapt this app to the Smart 2.0 Era, marked by convergence, connectivity and integration. Here, we present ‘T Phone,’ SK Telecom’s innovative communication platform that will take the ‘phone’ to the next level.
